So I got tagged by Claudia to list my ten most influential books... Thats a tough one! :D I am not sure what counts as influential so I listed the ones I either packed with me when moving to the UK, or that I own both as hard and electronic copies (usually a good sign I cant really be without the book). 1. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. (I know. Dont judge.) 2. Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë 3. The entire Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling 4. Night and Day by Virginia Woolf 5. Dracula by Bram Stoker 6. A Midsummer Nights Dream by William Shakespeare 7. Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke. (Anybody else who just CANNOT WAIT for the BBC adaptation coming up for Christmas?!) 8. North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell 9. Matilda by Roald Dahl 10. Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll Audrey, June, Carole and Ellen, if you have time on your hands...! :D
