So I had this great discussion in my barbershop (because there are so many interesting topics that come up in the barbershop) the other day about Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts. One of the patrons there said that MMA requires less skill than boxing and that any top ranked MMA fighter would lose a boxing match against a decent boxer in the same weight class. He also claimed that boxing was still growing and popular and that MMA was a passing fad that would be gone soon. I just wanted to hear others thoughts are on the continued popularity of boxing and does it require more skill than Mixed Martial Arts.
