So, I have always enjoyed Osho as a philosopher and speaker. - TopicsExpress

So, I have always enjoyed Osho as a philosopher and speaker. Primarily because he tells very rich and universal stories. But, energetically he has always felt a little off to me. A little dead inside. Buddha mind, with no heart. I was just watching this talk he gave on boredom, and his take is that it is a sign of intelligence, and experience, because you have to be smart enough to have realized that life has no true meaning. Although, I understand the point he was making, emotionally that statement made my stomach hurt. He then goes on to explain that as a child he never played in any games, and to this day he has never played a game with anyone, because he sees no purpose in play... Now I understand why he always felt dead to me. I agree that life has no inherent meaning, we all create the meaning for ourselves through our thoughts and actions. And to me, the meaning of life, its very purpose, is play. The discovery of ourselves and our boundaries through limited constraints and specific goals. My universe is built from games within games and I guess Oshos is built with intelligence and boredom...;P https://youtube/watch?v=A4eP9mEi9X0
