So, I have another red dog/puppy here. Ive been quiet because I am still very much mourning/missing my Pete. Im not *as* delirious about him, but I still feel much pain at the loss of the only true joy Ive ever felt. For some reason yesterday and today have been very very hard ... Thats the beauty (?) of grief. You never know when/how its going to appear. This pic is from a couple weeks ago. His ears are currently taped back up and it looks really dumb so no newer pics for awhile. I hope they stay pricked though after hes done teething. His name is Pi and my friend saved me from a mental abyss/rabbit hole by handing him to me (as an 8 week old puppy). Im not sure when or if I will get to the gushing level that I did with Pete (though he has a bit of pete in him). Time will tell. Right now Im happy he wants to chew bones next to me on the couch. My friend is smarter than anyone has the right to be. I am very thankful.
