So I have good news and bad news. The good news is that if you live in the northwestern three fourths of the viewing area, say, northwest of a line from about Lake Providence to Rayville to Olla, you should be able to have a rain-free Halloween evening. This includes cities such as Monroe, El Dorado, Crossett, Bastrop, Farmerville, Ruston, and Winnfield. Now the bad news. Southeast of that line it will still be pretty iffy as to whether or not the rain will end before dark. For the cities of Natchez, Jonesville, St. Joseph, and Tallulah, it looks as if might still be rather wet at dark this evening. No severe weather will occur anywhere within the viewing area this evening and the heaviest rain has moved east and southeast of the area. -Tom
