So I have made it to 40 today... I would like to thank those of you who took a few minutes to wish me a happy birthday today, I do appreciate it... and as always Id like to wish you all a Very Merry Unbirthday today as well. You deserve it, some of you perhaps more than others... I havent been much for posting or conversation lately as I have been recovering from my tibia (shin bone for the uninformed) splitting in half a couple months ago, and its just so rediculously depressing sitting on your ass all day... All the help and Love from my unbelievably amazing and beautiful wife, and my super-cool, precocious daughters have been the best birthday present I could have ever recieved this year, with that said, I am recovering well and I now can hobble gracefully back and forth to do whatever it is that I do... Notwithstanding the mental strain of learning to walk normal again and the adjustments to my life as of late, I do have some thoughts and quotes regarding my birthday and perhaps even my indifference to my newly attained age... First thing that comes to mind is 1 Corinthians 13:11-13, (dont be lazy, just look it up, might do some of you some good) and secondly I must quote Time sure flies when youre young and jerking off -Jim Carroll... Merry Unbirthday my friends, I Love you all, I truly do... :)
