So I have named the season of life that I am going through right now. I call it The Art of Waiting (on God). And so much of my personal Bible study has me focusing on that. My wait. I journal my thoughts in a stream of consciousness type thing and tonight I started with the thought... Here I am, still waiting. And the more I wrote I realized that God was telling me Yes Mandy, you are waiting. What are you going to do with this time? Newsflash genius! I have been asking God for yes and no answers, but He knows that what I need is to learn to wait on Him. And while I wait, I am to seek him so I can discern what he needs me to. He is teaching me a lesson that will be good for me for the rest of my life. To lean not on my understanding, but to trust in His and to lean on him when doubt and fear assail. He wants me to seek him so that in my weakness He can show His strength. Thank you Lord for your patience with me. Help me to lean on you. Give me eyes to see and a heart to trust in your way even when my vision is cloudy and my soul wavers. Your love is never ending. May my life reflect You. In your name, Amen.
