So I have some slightly aged (from the fall harvest) organic - TopicsExpress

So I have some slightly aged (from the fall harvest) organic purple potatoes and I want to sprout them to plant in my garden. Ive never grown potatoes before but am having to rotate crops this year. Some instructions say to sit them in a windowsill and let them grow sprouts and then just plant the whole thing. Other instructions say to cut them in half, put cut side down in some water, place that in a windowsill, and then keep them watered while they sprout. What is your vote?
