So I heard Obama pulled the plug. And everyone can come on in. So, heres the deal with immigration. Yes we are a Country of immigrants, but Im going to tell you how this argument works. If people (and I had to teach myself) understood Economics and the Free Market, they would understand that the U.S. would not be a magnet for immigrants were it not for socialist hand outs. All countries - look them up - understand that a system unless it is free cannot support unlimited immigration. Even high level socialists know this. I guarantee you they have their accounts in private brokerages. You have to have proven income or buy property for entrance to most countries. The free market system without legislative interference, allowed to find its own level, where corporations and businesses are required to follow the rules of competition will eliminate the problem of immigration. Businesses will pay what they can and the rest find work elsewhere - because there are only so many legitimate jobs. When you do not have a free market and people are legislated out of business, forced to pay benefits which they cannot afford, of course, people will seek out those benefits. A free market will only support what it can and immigration is no longer a problem. Redistribution of wealth and market interference aka socialism is the system in place, the market will not find its level and everybody ends up out of work. With a free market, and I believe a moral code, all the other problems go away. There are only so many passengers you can allow on a ship. The rest have to find another ship or it sinks. If other countries also encouraged free markets, everyone would have a ship - not ours. It is not noble. It is nefarious. They are not doing anyone any favors - and they know this.
