So I heard a lot of controversial statements about hunting lately. Here is the thing: i respect everyones opinion about it. But I want my views and opinion to be respected just as well. And I am not afraid to say it: I LOVE HUNTING. And you may say what you want but it is a Sport. And no it is NOT about the kill itself there is more to the hunt then the harvest. If you really want to know what it is all about watch this clip: huntervids/videos/passed-on-by-the-articulate-redneck But you just cant understand it if you where never out there. Its a thousand year old tradition that as long as it is legal will go on generation after generation. In todays world meat comes out of the store. And everybody is fine with that. But take a look where your meat really comes from and how they treat the animals there and then tell me again that hunters are the monsters and kill for fun and all that. Also if you love nature that much why do you drive a car if it polutes the environment ? Why do you built houses if you destroy an animals habitat ? So not only the hunters are the problem here its the whole mankind itself. So if you think about it you are part of it as well as a hunter. And I am not going to start to talk about animal rights activists and such (if you want to see some interesting facts about PETA here is the link:youtube/watch?v=7kXUPy-dCx4). Just so much I really respect people that decide not to eat meat, I really do because I know I couldnt do it. But weather you like it or not eating and getting eaten is part of the nature. And YES we are part of the nature too And YES we are predators !!! Hunters are necessary for the control of the populations(conservationforce.org/role.html)because their are no or only very few predators in many areas. I dont think you would like the effects of the rapid growth of the heards, which would be: more accidents, destroyed crops, the extinction of certain species and so on. And hunting is not illegal so a hunter does nothing wrong !!! They abide laws and regulations and even the "fairchase" (boone-crockett.org/huntingEthics/ethics_fairchase.asp?area=huntingEthics).Also hunters buy land and maintain it. The money you pay for your licenses and tags is benefiting the nature and the wildlife. So how can you judge someone that has done nothing wrong ??? I dont intend to offend anyone with this post. Its just my personal opinion and I have the right that everyone respects it, whether you share it or not. If you want to discuss that whole topic feel free to contact me. With all this said Good night and shoot straight Wer ne deutsche Übersetzung will bitte melden ;)
