So I hung or with my ex today, and I can say that Ive never been so sincerely and full heartedly apologized to the way I was today. I seriously thought he didnt have a conscious to what he did, but apparently its haunted him for these past two years. He said he hadnt realized how stupid he was and how he really had hurt me after I had treated him the best hes ever been treated by anyone. It was really cool to have some legitimate closure, even if it was followed by an awkward 5 minute hug. He now wants to meet my current boyfriend to tell him hes got the best person in the world by his side. Moral of the story, learn to forgive, but dont take a step back, because sometimes as selfish or oblivious as people may seem, theyve got a conscious that extends their own heart.
