So, I just finished reading Elizabeth Smarts book, My Story. If not familiar with her, she was the 14 year old snatched from her bed at knife point and held captive by 2 deranged religious self righteous fanatics for 9 months in the Salt Lake Wasatch Mtns. I read it I suppose since our own daughter was assaulted at gun point by a convicted serial rapist on parole and we have a connection, BUT, BUT, Christina was trained and very good with what to do and she SURVIVED unscathed. Elizabeth had ZERO clue with what to do and was assaulted every day in miserable fashion. So glad she is well today but.... If you do anything, make sure you and your family seek self defense training and I dont mean punching paper with daddys revolver. You need to understand close quarter battle skills and basic defensive tactics while walking, driving, shopping, etc., and kids need to have a plan if ever assaulted or abducted. Im not trying to be the boogey man, but this is reality. God Bless..
