So I just got the weirdest phone call ever!!!!! So a man calls talking about hes calling on behalf of the U.S. Treasury Dept. and that I was being investigated. He claimed that he couldnt provide any information but he gave me a number to my supposed investigator Jason Dean phone number (323) 798-8992. So I asked if this is his direct line and the man says yes. So before he hangs up Im grilling him because in the back of my mind I feel like this is a serious hoax. So to prove who he says he is he reads me my address. So I told him anyone can get someones address sir. So then the S.O.B. is like IF YOU THINK THIS IS A HOAX DONT RESPOND AND THEN WELL COME AND THROW YOU IN JAIL FOR THE NEXT 6 MONTHS!!!! So I play along and I call my supposed investigator, the man who picked up sounded exactly like the man I just hung up with....and it wasnt his direct line because he was trying to transfer me. So then I tell him Im going to investigate this number I called and then the man hangs up. So I call the Treasury Dept to speak to someone in the scam dept. and they are aware of these fraudulent calls. BE CAREFUL FOLKS. SO MY GUT WAS RIGHT......HOAX!!!!!
