So, I just had a diversity training course at my big girl daytime job and learned that 70% of the worlds population cannot read. Seventy. Percent. Which means if you can read this, you are the minority. To me, that means if you CAN read and you dont exercise that ability by reading AT LEAST three books a year, you are wasting a truly magical skill that you possess. My heart breaks for those who cannot escape between the pages of a book. My thankfulness is at an all-time high today.
