So I just wanted to take a minute and say what a wonderful job my coworkers in public safety do on a daily basis. Today I had the pleasure of seeing it first hand. While working on Medic 7 I responded to a cardiac arrest. What I found was that the patients family had started bystander CPR just seconds after the collapse and the Lynn fire dept Engine company performing outstanding CPR and AED work. I truly believe that because of there dedication and determination to provide care for this victim it gave me a viable patient to treat. Resulting in a V-fib conversion to Normal sinus with 1 shock. Needless to say the patient went to the cath lab and should be able to walk out of the hospital on his own when his stay there is finished.. Being a CPR and ACLS instructor it is awesome to see thing fall together and really work. Great job done by all..
