So I know I am no longer a single mother (thank ya Lord for our hard working Da!) but I am alone with the kids all week long so therefore Im still independent and fairly skilled in many areas just so if I have a situation when nobody is around I can handle it or know what to do to get it handled. With that being said I think Im about to have to play mechanic and crawl under my car! Ive noticed there was a small drip coming from under the hood a few days ago but its not been anything major nor has my car ran hot. My fluids have seemed fine as well. I figured it may have been my ac so I didnt really stress it much. Well as I drove Kelsi to the bus stop this morning I noticed it smelled kinda burnt. Still has not run hot or even acted like it was going to. Its not oil dripping. I now have my lil green Tear em up Taurus under the carport with the hood up waiting for it to cool down so I can check fluids and crawl my happy ass under this extremely low to the ground go mobile and see if I can find where the leak is coming from. Lol any info would be appreciated.... The liquid on the ground is clear for the most part but its not water. Its greasy feeling but not as thick as oil. From what I can tell the drip is coming from closer to the front of the car round my radiator (lets pray its not my radiator!!!) anybody have any ideas to what this could possibly be or at least what type of fluid so Ill know what to focus my attention on?
