So I know a bunch of people wanted to stay updated on my trip here... So Ill do my best. Yesterday I had my first appointment with a hematologist and I basically sat there crying the whole time because he had no drive to try anything new or figure anything out. He treated me very passively. And in his notes described me as chronically ill looking and thin..so that was sweet. I was beyond sad over that but my trust cant be in man. Today I had an appointment with a neurologist and she was incredibly thorough and good. Shes going to do a ton of tests on me and figure out my whole seizure problem. She thinks my seizures and constant dizziness and weirdness in my head could be scarring on my brain from my brain infection in 2007. Man it would just be all nice if they could figure that out. Im waiting to be scheduled to see an immunologist. Hoping to not have to wait weeks but get in asap. Im going to be hospitalized and have my seizures looked at closely and get me on medication that actually works. Ive been feeling super sick these past couple days and hoping nothing big happens, but I guess it would be better to happen here than in Eugene. Love you all and thank you for praying.
