So I know children sometimes regress when a sibling is born - TopicsExpress

So I know children sometimes regress when a sibling is born specially if they had been an only child up till then. Well heres my issue. Ever since McKenzie was born, Marcky picked up this habit of crying (not even real crying but that annoying fake whinny cry) in his bed when he wakes up. Normally when he would wake up he would come find me or get outta bed and play in his room or turn a movie on (he knows how to work his TV and DVD player). Now hell just lay in bed crying -_- I think its his way of trying to be a baby since he sees that I pick up baby sister from her bed when she wakes up crying. Question is how do I stop it? Ive been nice about it, talked with him already told him he could get outta bed and on his own like he used to and doesnt have to cry. Ive been mean about it telling him if he doesnt stop fake crying for no reason Ill send him to time out so he has a reason to cry. Right now hes been in there fake crying for about 30 minutes and Im not sure what to do. I dont want to go in there nd have him keep thinking its ok to do that. Ugh!
