So, I often wonder how many #trees would be saved if junk mail did not exist... After all, most of it doesnt get looked at and goes straight into the trash. It doesnt seem fair that I get charged extra per bag for my groceries and urged by every utility and credit card company I use to go paperless(which is btw to save them money, NOT because they are trying to be eco-friendly). Its simply a marketing ploy to win/con people over since being green has turned uber-trendy amongst the masses. So why is it okay to expect the consumer to be eco-friendly and even forced upon us in some ways while at the same time these huge big-named companies are sending out 1000s, if not millions of wasted mail printed on paper which of course comes from trees on the daily?? Im not saying theres anything wrong with conserving paper, etc... Im all for it. I just think it needs to apply to the consumer as well as the merchants... #EVERYBODY. Just food for thought I guess...
