So I received a Tascam CC-222 MK IV component CD burner with built-in cassette deck for Christmas. One nice thing that it can do is it will record to CD directly from vinyl or even a cassette. I wasnt much of a cassette collector. I was a big fan of making and giving mix tapes way back when. This deck also hooks up to my mixing board, and everything connected to it. This includes a dual deck CD player with pitch control, my PC, my primary turntable (I do have a second one), my piano/keyboard, and three iPods. Now that everything is connected to one another and is running at 110%, I decided it was time to finally record some the 40th anniversary editions of the Bowie picture disc singles to CD. I have all of them except Rock N Roll Suicide, Starman, and John Im Only Dancing. I am loving the TOTP live version of The Jean Genie! Great harmonica by David. Sounds lovely.
