So I received a fine of $433 and 4 points for turning off my sat nav on my mobile phone while stopped waiting at a red light. I get talking on the phone and texting, but actually just touching it?... Apparently I can use both hands to go through my wallet, or anything else non electrical in the car, but cant use one hand to turn off the map... and this is equally as dangerous as driving 25 - 35km/hr over the limit?... Im not normally in support of this call, but cmon, this has to be a revenue raising measure for sure? One hand to turn it off at a red light? The lovely officer wasnt interested in reason or common sense - I guess he had his goal!... Rant over - DONT SPEED!!
