So I started the birthday festivities by having a massage this afternoon. The massage therapist took the session a little longer becuase he knew I was having leg trouble. No charge - just being nice. After it was done I decided to have a treat of sorts. I decided on a iced coffee from the Starbucks drive thru. Once at the window I was pleasently surprised to find that the person in front of me had paid for my order. I am a big believer in random acts of kindness and paying forward, so I paid for the person behind me. The universe found me today by placing me in line behind that kind and generous woman. The lesson for all of us, and I know it is hard, but keep an open heart and mind - the universe will find you. It has been 50 years on this earth. I hope for 50 more and I know they will be better every year. Finally, came home to find the only mail for me was an invitation from the Fort Lincoln Cemetery and Funeral Home. hmmmm......
