So, I take Sydney to dance class and we stop at Jo-Anns Craft Store to pick up some paint for a school project. The check-out line is huge. We finally get up to a cash register and I notice that the Cashier #1 seems to be acting strangely. Maam, are you ok? No response. She then leans on one elbow and leans over. I try to get cashier # 2 attention. She calls for next customer. I was like Excuse me, I think she needs help... # 2 Smiles at me and ignores me. Finally when #1 slumps on top of the cash register, she realizes what is going on and frantically calls for help via her walkie-talkie... I ended up going around the counter, making #2 help me get her on the floor as then there are 4 of them leaning over the patient and me saying things like Oh my, I wonder what we should do? Oh dear... They didnt know anything about this lady and any medical issues. So, I told them to call 911 and Told them what to say, the lady started to come around a bit and, upon questioning her, admitted she was a diabetic... 911 came, I left, Sydney got to dance 20 minutes late but eager to relay the story of why she was late to her teacher... The moral of the story is dont pass out in the craft store because the staff doesnt have the slightest clue of what to do.... Lol....
