So, I thought that my transmission had fail catastrophically today. It made the worst noise and shuddered like the brakes were locked at random. Turns out the upper bolt holding the caliper bracket on came completely out so that when I hit the brakes the caliper swung forward and wedged against the wheel. The only real damage is a bit of caliper paint. Waiting for the dealership to get the new bolt now.
