So I wanted to share my court experience... well here it goes... i had court monday at 8am... all weekend I was sick with some kind of stomach issue dont know for sure but a cat scan showed everything was good.... anyways I show up to court 4 hrs from home out of state first thing monday... sign in give my paperwork and affidavit to the officer and immediately am seen by the judge.. she asks me do i have a lawyer or do i plan on representing myself I simply asked for a lawyer... then she says I have to go to legal aid I said ok.. well I was denied because I was a out of state resident and that id have to do it all thru my state... so I go back in front of the judge which then I explained I was denied and being I was court appointed one from our previous matter she remembered and said oh thats right your out of state I remember you now... she asks me a few simple questions and then appoints one again for me as well as my kids... now im waiting for a lawyer the kids appointed lawyer approachs me and asks me a few questions and I share some info with her... which I already knew she violated our agreement but the kids lawyer points out a few minor tweaks that should be made asap I aknowledged them and agreed that it made sense.... well im still waiting for my court appointed lawyer... I start getting real sick again, sweating, headache, bathroom, shaking real bad, my lips even turned blue... so I find the kids lawyer tell her I need medical and in turn she calls the sherrif and gets me a lawyer immediately to help the process faster... the sherrif comes over and wants to call an ambulance well I said no cause the hospital was down the street and my family was able to take me... the lawyers and sherrif both go into the court room to proceed to tell the judge I am enroute to the hospital... both lawyers and judge read and recived all the information I had received to lead my kids mother and I up to this point... now we have a reschedule court date were they are requesting to see the children and she is in direct violation of custody order... not to mention not showing up for our court date on monday... I cant say I have any head way or anything but I tried my very very best to make it thru the day with out dropping literally to the floor in pain and dehydration.... mike
