So, I was asked by my good friend Inna to recall the 10 books that had changed me in some way. There are some questions you never ask a book worm :-) Nevertheless, my top10 by my 23 years looks like this (the newer ones the first): 1. The Gulag Archipelago trilogy by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn (Russian: Аргипелаг ГУЛаг, Александр Солженицын). 2. Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. 3. C++ Programming Language by Steven Prata. 4. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. 5. Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. 6. Cult by Liubko Deresh (Ukrainian: Культ, Любко Дереш). 7. A Young Doctors Notebook by Mikhail Bulgakov (Russian: Записки юного врача, Михаил Булгаков). 8. The Invincible by Stanisław Lem (Polish: Niezwyciężony, Stanisław Lem). 9. The Stainless Steel Rat series by Harry Harrison. 10. Short stories by Robert Sheckley. Julia, Daria and Alex, would you mind to share your ones?
