So I was at Ryans restaurant the other day and I wanted to make someones day we got this coupon book and had 2 eat for 17.99. After we was done we left seen these to amvets in wheel chairs wheeling there ways down the rd not begging or nothing just getting around. I stopped and talked to them for a min, and they told me that they are living in a aboned home, and they refuse to sit on a corner and beg for money or food. I was astonished by this. And then this is what hit me the Hardest teared me up, we survived the war lost body parts but survived we have been friends for I dont even know how many yrs. We ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER to keep moving on. Keep in mind Im tryin not to cry. And he looks at me and says son will u do me a favor, next time u see a pow flag or ur American flag sign. Know that we did our best to keep ur freedom. I LOST IT! I looked at them and said now will you do me a favor take this coupon and this twenty and get u a meal. They both teared up said yes sir. Guys this is REAL. I FELT so over joyed to have that opportunity to talk to some real American caring men! The Smiles enough stopped the clock. Much love!
