So, I was going through facebook and I stumbled upon this movie coming out soon. I looked into it more to see exactly what it was. Its a movie about the rapture. It looks pretty interesting. And the motive behind it is to bring awareness to people about the rapture. But I was also looking through the comments and it looks like it has done the opposite for some people. Some people a praising satan and other people are just criticizing how the movie looks horrible that it is just a spin off of other movies. It looks like the entertainment industry is trying to bring awareness and light to bring people closer to Jesus, but it seems to be failing. My questions: What could we do to get people to take some of these movies seriously? If we, as Christians, are criticizing everything the entertainment industry is doing. What kind of feedback should we give to them? Because just criticizing movies is not helping. And because we are criticizing the movies, people arent going to take the movies seriously. Maybe we should tell them what might help, and clear up some confusion on the topic. Maybe We can create a place where we can submit ideas/constructive criticism to film producers, screen writers, and directors. This is just my thought on the whole thing. Im probably 100% wrong on this all. But I figured I would share my thoughts and see what other people thought.
