So I was traveling over the past weekend, visiting my brother in North Carolina. As I pulled out bright and early to head home, I came upon a BoJangles fast food restaurant. I had always heard that they have the best biscuits in the world, and since they dont have any places down here in the deep south I figured Id find out once and for all. As I pulled up to the drive through, I quickly scanned the menu of the available biscuit choices and I eyed one that was called the Cajun Filet Biscuit. Thats all it said. No description, no picture, just the name. Just then the Drive Through Girl chimed in on the speaker. Our conversation was, as follows........ DTG: Hi! Welcome to BoJangles! Can I take your order? ME: Hi! Can you tell me what is on the Cajun Filet biscuit? DTG: A Cajun Filet. ME: Ok. Can you tell me what a Cajun Filet is? DTG: Ummm.....Its a biscuit. ME: (slack jawed) I was hoping you could tell me what came on it. DTG: Sir, its just a Cajun Filet on a biscuit, I dont know what else to tell you! ME: (Tight lipped) Honey, Im asking what a Cajun Filet is. Is it chicken....sausage... fish....did you kill a Cajun guy and cut him up into little pieces? Could you please tell me what exactly a Cajun Filet is???? DTG: (Voice slightly elevated) Its a piece of chicken with Cajun spices! (Short pause) ME: Ok. Id like a steak, egg and cheese biscuit with a diet coke please. ....... Needless to say I examined my biscuit very carefully before i ate it. And it was pretty darn good! So I highly recommend BoJangles. Just be careful at the drive through.
