So I was working third shift, was on my way home at 8:00 AM. By the time I got home, the news was all over the place. 2001 I was living just outside of Salem Mass, and while the ex wife was at work, and the daughter was at daycare, I was glued to the TV. It was a very surreal moment, and I remember the amount of aircraft in the air on my third shift smoke break back then. Jets were flying EVERYWHERE, and they were fighter jets.....being right outside of Logan Airport where the terrorists took off, it was a crazy moment in my life. I remember the panic, the horror of all who lived up there, and NY 2 days after the horrible incident happened.....as I had to fly from NYC to Korea....it was a madhouse. I honor those who died, and I remember the smoke and nightmare of those around me. God bless the USA and may God bring us back to the greatness this country once was.
