So, I watched about half of the State of the Union so far... wow... First of all his priorities absolutely blew my mind. I had to laugh when he just had to get that story in right away about the asthma... haha Hate to break it to you, Mr. President. The Affordable Healthcare Act is ridiculous! Also, I have said and will say again and again. Raising the minimum wage is a TERRIBLE idea. He wants to raise it to $10.10? Whats wrong with him?! Raising the minimum wage INCREASES the cost of living along with it! Those that are working at higher skilled, better paying jobs suffer from it while the ones on minimum wage are no better off! The wage that is earned should be up to the employer. I agree there should be a minimum wage, but raising it accomplishes nothing. As a person in a good position to be a full-time employer down the road, I have decided long ago no one working for me will ever be on minimum wage. Every employer can make that choice! Stay out of it Government!
