So, I would like to share something special with you all today. :) One of the sweet things I got to share with Rachel as a sister is that we played the piano together. In fact, the last week of Rachels life I sat down on the piano with her and we dramatically cranked out My Heart Will Go On from Titanic. Little did I know that within 5 days of that memory it would be playing at Rachels funeral as her friends got up to remember and honor her. It took a long time after my sister died to be able to play again without breaking down. The past several months I have been spending time with my brother Craig on my piano now. The same one Rachel sat at. As I was watching my brothers hands I had the deepest ache to see and hug my sister again and go back to the days when her hands were on these keys. Since shes not here, I decided the next best thing was to put this post out as a reminder for you - yes YOU the wonderful person reading this - to hug and hold onto your loved ones tight. And I mean tight! You will NEVER ever regret making sure your people know you love them. As much as I loved on my sister, I dont know that it will ever feel like it was enough. I know many of you can relate. So get out there and love people!!
