So Ill say this....some kids dont respond well to spanking. I got Darn near beat as a child (I was kinda bad or into everything). It worked I guess. My daughter bangs her face in walls expressing grief after a spanking. She pinches herself when I reprimand her too sharply. I got spanked with extension cords, hangers etc but never bleed, never a bruise. Theres nothing a four year old could do to warrant bleeding from a spanking. 4 is about exploring boundaries. Im pro spank but Im also clear theres a point where it crosses the line. He needs parental support. Not just a suspension or a charge. But actual support. Picking a switch was like 8yro spankings. We dont read enough and study child development. A 4yro can handle 3 hands hits and a 4 minute t.o without breaking down. Emotionally. Its a fragile age. What did a four year old do SO BAD blood was drawn?
