So Im having dinner with le familia and my sister (Lupe)says that her friend thought it was weird 2 eat sopa de fideo (soup) with corn then my brother (Alex)told my Mom that people thought the way she made soup was weird, because it had corn. She told us that when she was a child her version of soup was just rice and chopped up tomatoes. Then my brother reminded her that he wasnt talking about rice, but instead, soup. Then she started telling us about the different kinds of soups she ate as a child. Amongst these she mentioned her favorites which included coditos (macaroni shaped soup.)But she also mentioned her least favorite, the star shaped soup. Then we asked her whats the difference between the stars and the other soups. She said that it tastes different. Then were like how does it taste different. She tells us, I think its because of the shape. Then we tell her how does the shape affect the flavor. She pauses, then after a moment of consideration she says, `` Esque esas estrellitas me caen muy gordas!
