So Im prepping for my class (which starts in a few minutes) and the rudest email just came through my Facebook. Someone (who is now blocked from my page) asked me when I was going to put up a new pic. They wrote, and I quote, Youre 50. Youre not 35 anymore. Put up a recent picture and stop being ashamed of your age. Thankfully, its been a virtually stress-free half-century. As my students (who see me on a daily basis) can tell you, I look exactly like my picture. No lines, no wrinkles, no sagging skin. And that picture is only a year old, not fifteen years old. What can I say? I cant help it if my witchcraft works! I am frozen in time . . . for now.
