So Ive been changing ball joints and rack ends and stuff and I noticed a spacer under the drivers side ball joint, like in the picture. I figured it was like a thin roll centre adjuster. The new ball joint seemed thicker such that it wouldnt need this spacer so I didnt install it. The passenger side however didnt have a spacer so I assumed it was missing and, given it was a thinner ball joint, I installed the one from the drivers side. Does anyone know anything about these spacers? Im second guessing myself after reading this post where the guy says he only found it on one side too.
