So Ive been seeing a lot of people posting some stupid meme about Audrey Hepburn vs Marilyn Monroe, stating more or less how Audrey was the bees knees and Marilyn was the bees butthole. Here is an interesting little fact about Marilyn Monroe that isnt on that meme... Marilyn Monroe was an anti-racist who used her celebrity to help black musicians get gigs in white clubs. One sided memes dont help change society for the better, or how we view women. If you want to highlight how cool someone is, trashing someone else is not the way to do it. Who knows what else Marilyn Monroe would have done if she lived longer?
