So, Ive been seeing a lot of posts on Facebook lately -- and a lot of friends going through a lot of sh*t, for lack of a better word... Loved ones lost; health struggles; relationship struggles; loss (or lack) of income... and the simple uncertainty of what life holds for us next. We may feel beaten down. Worn out. Defeated. Ive seen it in myself, and Ive seen it in so many friends lately -- Facebook or otherwise. Then today, I walk into our work lunch room to heat up my lunch. A sweet lady with struggles of her own had just sat down to eat. But before she began... there was a simple and quiet prayer of thanks. And to me, it was a reminder of what many of us lose sight of in our daily routines. In the words of Franklin D. Roosevelt, The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today. Let us move forward with strong and active faith. We all have faith -- and for each of us its different. As a Lutheran, I know where mine comes from. For others, it may be faith on a yoga mat, or in running the lakes, or in the laughs shared with friends. Whatever your faith... find it. And if you cant find it... find me.
