So Ive deleted the post requesting that maternal assisted photos be shared with a TRIGGER WARNING. One of the mothers in question is happy with her caesarean - AS SHE SHOULD BE! Women SHOULD be happy with the maternity care they receive. No matter what style of provider, no matter what venue, women should feel as if they were given the best care possible. One of the mothers in question is NOT HAPPY, and yet people insist on telling her that its beautiful and ripping her story apart because .... well were not sure why. Pretty rude really. It seems that only the mother who is happy with her journey is allowed to talk. Which ever camp you are in, you should be mindful of the fact that these photos have triggered quite an outpouring, and many women are struggling with constant exposure to graphic photos of caesareans. Posting them with the words POTENTIAL TRIGGER WARNING really isnt much to ask.
