So... Ive only been on radio for 2 years now - which, i know, is nothing in the eyes of an industry that upholds and glorifies their legendary arsenal of artistes. But hey, the one big thing Ive learned from doing this job is, to listen. Listen more than you talk. In the past few days though, Im looking around and I see a bunch of blabber mouths and bullies. Thats it. Nobodys saying anything about you and nobodys asking for your opinion or comment but you gotta talk because that jaw is loose now after all these years. You dont realize what a big bully youre coming out to be. Im walking down the street right and you got a sharp tongue, talking smack under your breath as I walk - why you gotta do that? I got a job, you got a job, get to work. This is the problem with our industry in Singapore. Its already so damn small and we are fighting all the damn time with each other, thinking, this shit is gonna grow us. No one in school said hey you wanna improve? Go tease the other kids, go stir shit, send a spy, report back to me - youll get an A*. Lets end off funny here, a joke. These are the people I look up to, at some point, studied, possibly befriended. At the end of the day, Im looking at you going no, I do not want what you have. I do not think what you hold is golden. Im 24, happy to have a job. When I do what I do, I put my all in it. Thats it. End.
