So Jennifer and I were talking tonight and got to discussing LotR casting and about how Sean Connery desperately wanted the part of Gandalf. We agreed it would have been horrible but I said it wouldnt have been the worst casting. She said yeah, not like if they had gotten Danny McBride. I just stopped and then began to laugh uncontrollably at the thought of Danny McBride as Gandalf. It would have been terrible but possibly the funniest thing to have ever happened in existence. Then we just decided it would have been funny just putting him in any role in the series. There was much laughter at the thought.
