Spray-bottles are also effective in teaching a cat that "no" means "no." So when a man DOES verbally harass her, she will say nothing, but she will spray him with water (which should be a nice water/vinegar solution... heavy on the vinegar) This is best tried first in very public situations, as we have yet to test the theory and do not want anyone getting hurt. When we do get the sudden burst of bravery to try these measures, we will let you all know how it goes.
