So Jim is doing a little thing over on patreon Heres the gist of it: you pledge a small amount to help him fund lots of little projects (in this case ukulele videos) Its basically like kickstarter but on a smaller scale for ongoing creative projects. Every two weeks Jim has promised to post a new ukulele video and support from patrons (like me) make it possible. Now the obvious question you may be asking yourself is Hey, arent I watching this video for free? Why would I buy the cow.... etc The answer to that question is different for everyone. My personal answer is that Jim is awesome and has been there for our family in BIG ways the last few years and we consider him to be more than just a musician that we follow on social media, but our friend who is an exceptionally talented artist. So for me, supporting this project is really a no brainer. But if you need more incentive, Jim has some very cool rewards setup for the different pledge levels. More than that, hes cultivated a community over there and is very interactive with all his super fans as he calls us giving us some really great behind the scenes information that youre not going to get with these public videos and I think that alone is worth the $1 per video pledge (which works out to $2/month given the biweekly video schedule) If you like what you see here (and I dont know how you couldnt,) please consider becoming a patron!
