So Liam and his mate got a taxi from Kirkcudbright to Twynholm and onto Gatehouse of Fleet, today, cost £24 at approx 3pm. A journey of no more than 15 minutes. This equates to £96/hr. The 2 passengers were purely transported no instruction, nothing more than a lift from A to B. Why then do people haggle when arranging driving lessons, and they had to pay for the taxi today, not next week when they get paid. Its only driving instructors that get messed about regarding payment. Rant over
