So Obama says this is a year of action and that he will act with or without the Congress. Funny, I remember this document that is supposed to layout out the rules of the government. I remember it saying something like: All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives. I also remember it saying something that he had to recite as an oath. Something like: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. So, how does he do this legally without the Congress? Here is the other thing I dont get: Why in the world is the Congress applauding him for saying this? He just basically said he is going to overstep the bounds of his office regardless of what they think about it... and they cheer him. Are we witnessing the beginnings of this: youtube/watch?v=Lo4cFViNLes Listen to it. I know its a fictional movie. With that said, it doesnt mean that it isnt being emulated by our leadership. Honestly we need to start demanding more of our leadership. If we dont, we might as well throw the purple cape on Obama, or the next puppet, now and call him Caesar. It will save us from the next fabricated crisis they dream up to tighten the grip and keep themselves in power.
