So, Orlando Dispatch has closed its doors officially at 9pm tonight. An end of an era. We have all retained our employment with BHN but we are all going in different directions. Some to PAC, some to Business Solutions, some to the Call Center. Its very hard to say goodbye to someone youve worked side by side with on a daily basis for almost 10 years. You spend 9 hours a day, 5 and more days a week together, and become like family. You know all of their aches and pains, you know their children and spouses. You learn what pisses them off and what makes them laugh. You cry for them, pray for them and encourage them when they make a big decision that will change their lives. We had our good days and we had our bad days and we slugged through it together. We became friends with our technicians as we encouraged them to stay the course on those long hot days, through those nasty afternoon thunderstorms. We often cried foul in support of them and the outrageously long hours they have to put in. Orlando Dispatch has always been from TCI to Time Warner then to Brighthouse. Tonight, the lights went out at Orlando Dispatch.
