So, Papas ice house will take your money to host a benefit show but shut your band off four songs in and then say theres nothing they can do when the microphone stops working. I would say if you kicked the band off stage and provided faulty equiptment then the proper thing to do would be to refund the money so we can throw it towards the funds we were raising for Bobbys sons college fund. Ive messaged them. If that happens, I will let you know. But as of now, I know those guys took money from a benefit and turned face on every aspect of the show to please their regulars. They were happy to continue selling us beers, but told us that since the patrons didnt like the music and their microphone didnt work, we should gather our party intoa small group so we could all talk amongst ourselves quietly. That was how they requested we conduct our raffle and auction. Quietly in a corner without bordering their regulars. Be sure to swing by their page and let them know your opinions on that. Just please be respectful. Anger and tactlessness isnt gonna help our cause. I will get that money refunded to josh or I will make sure that we fet our moneys worth. I figure if nothing else, a giant crowd of water drinkers filling up their tables may make em appreciate the tables we filled with paying customers today.
