So Pumpkin visited with Dr. Wong at Southeast Veterinary Neurology today. Surgery is an option if she gets worse (to the tune of $6,000) or we can crate her. Decided on strict crate rest for at least 2-4 weeks and prednisone and painkillers. Hopefully the prednisone will reduce the inflammation of what he suspects is a slipped disc. He will see her in a week to evaluate so will see where we stand at that time. Pumpkin says thanks for all the positive thoughts!
