So, Republicans do not want to pass Immigration Reform right now - TopicsExpress

So, Republicans do not want to pass Immigration Reform right now because they do not want it to happen within a Democratic administration. Is there not a bolder and more obvious politicization of a movement, or ethnic group, than this? We have the Voter ID laws that they have blatantly stated would limit the demographic power of the Democratic Party, and now this. How do the Republican Party expect to survive by LIMITING the power of minorities? What kind of incentive is that? Are their positions and arguments so unpopular that they have to CHANGE THE RULES to have any semblance of credibility in the conversation? This is todays Republican Party. With this mindset, if they do not adapt to the changing demographic tide of the electorate, their existence as a party in a decade will be nothing short of a miracle. As of right now, they truly have NOTHING to offer the future of this country except the sad, stale visions of old, white, Protestant men who cant accept the progress of human civilization. HUB
