So Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the LORD. (I Samuel 3:19-20 NKJV) Are you growing in Christ? Samuel began as a little boy serving in the Temple of God under Eli the priest. When God spoke to Samuel he listened and spoke the Truth. That first encounter with God began a long pattern of speaking the truth in love to the nation of Israel. Samuel exhorted, affirmed, corrected, prophesied, reminded and taught the people. He spoke truth and he spoke it in love.
